On Monday, August 11th, Magic: The Gathering announced the contents of the Festival in a Box for MagicCon Atlanta for 2025. For the most part, the structure remains the same, but new promotional cards have been included. What are the promos, and what's the new Secret Lair? Read on!
<h2>The Contents of Festival in a Box Atlanta 2025</h2>
The structure of this new boxed product is similar to what was offered for MagicCon Chicago and MagicCon Las Vegas this year. The contents include a box of Mystery Booster 2, a new Secret Lair product, and four new promos. One of the promos is a playtest card. But beyond that, the similarities largely end. <h3>New Secret Lair Alert!</h3>
Festival in a Box Atlanta 2025 contains a new Secret Lair drop, called MagicCon: The Gathering. This witty drop is a valuable one, as it contains at least one high-cost card (judging from secondary market values, anyway). The cards depict creatures attending a MagicCon event. It may not be Atlanta, and it may not even be 2025, but if one uses their imagination, that MagicCon event could be anywhere or at any time.
The cards in MagicCon: The Gathering are as follows:

In addition to the Secret Lair, this product also contains four promotional cards exclusive to it. Those cards also hold one with a relatively high value:

Like Sliver Legion, The Ur-Dragon is a card that demands a very respectable price point. Currently, with its oversized card notwithstanding, The Ur-Dragon's most affordable printing sits around $41 as well. Interestingly, that printing is its first, which is probably because, as a foil from Commander 2017, it has a tendency to warp.

The Festival In A Box for MagicCon Las Vegas has a few really cool things going for it. There's a Mystery Booster 2 booster box, exclusive promotional cards, and even a super-exclusive Secret Lair drop! Let's dive into the particulars:
<h3>Mystery Booster 2</h3>
To start, the Festival In A Box package contains an MB2 box. This set is a conglomerate of practically all sets up to a certain point, with some of the wildest cards from each within its bounds. Beyond this, each pack has card slots for "Futureshifted" cards (AKA cards with the special frame from Future Sight), white bordered reprints, and even a playtest card! There's even a slim (yet still nonzero) chance that you could find foil cards that, financially, could make up a large chunk of the cost of the package.
Truly, Mystery Booster 2 is a unique Limited experience, to say nothing of how awesome many of the reprints in the set are. Last year's Festival In A Box for MagicCon Las Vegas was priced at $249.99.
