It's Friday, July 11th, and the first week of Edge of Eternities preview season is winding down! However, that doesn't mean that spoiler season is over, as we have one more week to go. As such, after covering the past few days of spoilers, today we'll be looking at even more reveals!
Today, Wizards of the Coast only scheduled previews from the main set. The Commander precons are already all revealed, and no Stellar Sights cards were on the official schedule for today. So, let's look at what we've got:

For all it's worth, there's not a ton to say beyond how utterly cool this particular Magic: The Gathering expansion is. As it stands, we're super-excited to see how it impacts formats like Modern, Standard, Pauper, and, of course, Commander. For instance, are you the kind of player who would build an <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Urza, Lord High Artificer" href="#" target="_blank">Urza, Lord High Artificer</a> deck? Perhaps you'd like Mm'menon, the Right Hand. Or, if you like stealing commanders, maybe you're more a fan of putting Zero Point Ballad into the 99 of a black deck. The possibilities are near-endless, I'm sure.

Best Edge of Eternities Spoilers For Friday, July 11th

Some people are naturally curious. Many of them are born curious, and many others still have curiosity thrust upon them. If you are one of those in the world curious about what's out there beyond it, you're certainly in for a treat.
Assuming you got here at the time of writing, you may not yet know what Edge of Eternities preview card we here at EDHREC have the pleasure of revealing to you, dear reader.
However, we got not one, but two preview cards to show to you today! And, predicting that oh, so insatiable curiosity you simply must have, I must admit I'd like to sate that curiosity just as much as you want it satisfied in turn.
A huge thank-you to <a href="http://magic.wizards.com">Wizards of the Coast</a> for allowing us the opportunity to preview two cards from Edge of Eternities. It's a chance that we will always cherish and appreciate. And with that, let's get on with it!
<h2>Pulsar Squadron Ace</h2>

In a vacuum (perhaps the vacuum of space?), Pulsar Squadron Ace is a tough card to evaluate. After all, we are just now getting Spacecraft cards for the very first time, right?
As such, it's remarkably difficult for us to properly gauge the power level of this white uncommon. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="The Seriema" href="#" target="_blank">The Seriema</a> seems like a fantastic fit for Pulsar Squadron Ace, for the mere merit of its ability to dig for a Spacecraft. That much of an interaction seems pretty intuitively obvious.
The Seriema aside, however, the space (Get it? "Space"?) to run Pulsar Squadron Ace seems rather thin. It is clear that a card like <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines" href="#" target="_blank">Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines</a> might like Pulsar Squadron Ace, as might <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Preston, the Vanisher" href="#" target="_blank">Preston, the Vanisher</a> or <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Brago, King Eternal" href="#" target="_blank">Brago, King Eternal</a>.
But let's face facts here; that's probably most true if PSA is in one of those decks using a Spacecraft theme.
And speaking of cards that like blink effects and effects upon entry, allow us to showcase our second exclusive preview card:
<h2>Rescue Skiff</h2>

Rescue Skiff, quite frankly, pairs as well with PSA as a ribeye steak might pair with a Zinfandel. Don't care for red meat or red wine? Well, luckily for the chef, this is the Edge; nobody can hear you complain.
As it stands, Rescue Skiff is a more expansive <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Zombify" href="#" target="_blank">Zombify</a> effect in white that can reanimate an enchantment on entry instead if you prefer.
Sure, the Skiff costs more to cast than a Zombify (replacing Zombify's for a single ). That's just the cost of versatility at uncommon, however.
But the best part about Rescue Skiff is its capacity to be blinked in and out. This is achievable by commanders like Brago. Plus, its ability can be doubled-upon by Elesh Norn, et cetera.
You don't have the "if Rescue Skiff was cast" clause here. Therefore, the Spacecraft can enter freely and still do its sworn mission. That mission? Well, rescue, of course!

EDHREC's Exclusive Edge of Eternities Preview Cards

Magic Head Designer Mark Rosewater is no stranger to public relations. He's teased multiple sets for players ahead of the debut of their preview seasons in years past. This is normally done through <a href="https://markrosewater.tumblr.com/">his Tumblr account</a>, known as "Blogatog". On this social media account, Rosewater often answers important Magic design questions from curious players. On Tuesday, July 1st, Rosewater gave players <a href="https://markrosewater.tumblr.com/post/787882322917801984/maros-edge-of-eternities-teaser">a teaser for what to expect</a> in the next Magic set, Edge of Eternities.
<h2>Mark Rosewater’s Edge of Eternities Teaser</h2>
To directly quote Rosewater's post, here are a few notable abilities you can expect from the new set:
<blockquote>• repeatable activated ability that lets you draw two cards and create a 2/2 creature token
• white card that can return noncreature, nonland cards from the graveyard to the battlefield
• another “Arch” charm
• card that makes you choose odd or even
• new artifact token called Munitions
• variant on devour
• card that lets you take control of an opponent
• legendary five-color artifact
• poison card
• card that grants an ability to Slivers</blockquote>
After these, Rosewater showcased some rules text, albeit many likely only in part:

<h2>Thoughts on the Teaser</h2>
Overall, we're excited to see all the new cards! Players seem especially interested in what a Munitions token will do.
We are also quite intrigued about the (probably) attack trigger that puts a creature from the defending player's graveyard onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Are there strings attached to that trigger?
Furthermore, it is very cool that we will be seeing a return of the Eldrazi in the set. However, we are fairly aware of the number crunch for colors in the set. Because colorless nonartifact cards come first in the set number order, we can anticipate only one Eldrazi, if not a very small handful more.
In addition, we also seriously cannot wait to see the Lobster Citizen legendary creature, and what it is capable of. Is it just a "silly little guy"? Could it be a menace in Constructed? We'll just have to wait and find out!
Finally, what in the world(s) could Nebula Dragon do? That name is amazing!

The two Equipment in yesterday's previews are pretty neat, and The Wandering Minstrel seems quite ridiculous in a dedicated Town deck. Plus, it's another five-color card to command a deck with <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Lurrus of the Dream-Den" href="#" target="_blank">Lurrus of the Dream-Den</a> as a companion!
<h2>May 29th's Final Fantasy Spoilers</h2>
Overall, the last (or "final", as it were) content creator-driven previews for the set are interesting, albeit ranging in usefulness. A few of these cards are definitely Limited fodder, for sure. However, a couple could be usable in Constructed (depending on how much mana you want to spend casting them). Let's look at these cards!

This set is an amazingly faithful homage to Final Fantasy's game series on the whole. It reads like a devoted team really took the time to profess their love for the series through their hard work. And it does so because, at least according to Wizards of the Coast, that's absolutely true.

The previews for Final Fantasy from May 19th are mostly red-centric, with a few outliers, especially from the Through the Ages bonus sheet. In terms of the main set, we mainly got spoilers of lower rarities, with Lindblum, Industrial Regency as the one rare from the main set as of the time of writing.
For those collecting cards from specific games in the series, the spoilers today yielded cards from FFV, FFVII, FFIX, and one reprinted card - <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Syncopate" href="#" target="_blank">Syncopate</a> - from FFX. A fine haul going into Week 2 of previews!
<h3>Through The Ages Bonus Sheet</h3>
Through the Ages, the bonus sheet for the set, continues to produce some really cool previews. Getting a reprint of <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Kraum, Ludevic&#039;s Opus" href="#" target="_blank">Kraum, Ludevic&#039;s Opus</a>, for example, really seems like a bang-up job from the set design team. Meanwhile. seeing <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire" href="#" target="_blank">Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire</a> as Ardyn from FFXV feels like a home run, flavor-wise.

Overall, with nearly two weeks left in preview season, we can hardly believe that Wizards of the Coast has already revealed so many cool cards! Even today's previews make us wonder what tomorrow holds.
