A truck decorated with branded logos and characters has seemingly spoiled the identity of the unannounced Universes Beyond set. Wizards of the Coast planned to officially announce the set's identity this Friday, October 10th, during a panel at New York Comic Con. However, this early reveal may put a wrench into Wizards of the Coast's plans.

According to a thread on Reddit's r/mtg subreddit, the original poster keenly spotted the truck and posted about it at approximately 3:30 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, October 8th, two full days before Wizards of the Coast's NYCC panel.

By now, you may be able to tell that we'd been burying the lede a bit. However, our suspicions, as well as the suspicions of many other Magic: The Gathering players, appear correct. The March 2026 Universes Beyond set for Standard seems to be a collaboration with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Another eagle-eyed netizen spotted the TMNT-themed truck and posted a similar image online, prompting the general Internet populace to take notice. This photo, found on social media, also corroborates the Redditor above's post:

At this point, it's clear that we can say this is a major leak, but with a caveat. We don't normally cover leaks, but because Wizards allowed this truck to see the light of the Manhattan day, it's safe to say that this is a fairer game than others. With bated breath, we eagerly await seeing what kinds of cards could potentially come from this 2026 Universes Beyond collaboration.

But now, let's open the floor to you, dear readers. Did you anticipate that New York Comic Con would have a Universes Beyond crossover with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? If you did, what kinds of mechanics do you expect to see? And, if you didn't, what were you expecting from the 2026 Nickelodeon collab? Sound off in the comments below!
