<h1>So Nice, She's Favored Twice!</h1>
Hello, again, Commander faithful! I must get this out of the way early: it is GOOD to be back to writing about some of the coolest commanders in the format, those unique silver-rarity-stamped cards that we call Uncommonders!
That’s right, the series inspired by the twenty uncommon legendary creatures printed all the way back in Dominaria is back, with a vengeance, thanks to Replacement Commanders coming to an end for the Commander 2019 product. I should mention, however, that we may only get a few Uncommonders articles out as there is another Commander product coming out in parallel with Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths, but it seems that Wizards of the Coast has enjoyed releasing new uncommon commander-capable cards in sets more regularly, so the series will go on! Having said that, Wizards gave us plenty to work with since we put Uncommonders on hiatus, with fourteen new Uncommonders in the past couple of sets!
Throne of Eldraine gave us the five mono-colored Knights and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Grumgully, the Generous" href="#" target="_blank">Grumgully, the Generous</a>, while Theros Beyond Death featured the five mono-colored Demigods with three other Uncommonders tossed in. With so many new possibilities, I had no idea which one to start with, so I asked you, the readers, via my Twitter account. I got almost thirty responses in a single day, and while it was a close running, the one card that was requested the most is our star (no pun intended) today…

I love Eutropia! I’ve come to terms with the fact that Enchantress decks fall within my wheelhouse, despite normally being my wife’s thing. Eutropia fits the bill in every way, combining a plethora of benefits into a single package. Obviously, she cares about enchantments due to her Constellation trigger, which is already well-supported by green. She hands out +1/+1 counters, which falls within the Simic identity, as precedented with commanders like <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca" href="#" target="_blank">Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca</a>, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Ezuri, Claw of Progress" href="#" target="_blank">Ezuri, Claw of Progress</a>, the duo of <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Pir, Imaginative Rascal" href="#" target="_blank">Pir, Imaginative Rascal</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Toothy, Imaginary Friend" href="#" target="_blank">Toothy, Imaginary Friend</a>, and many others. Finally, she even grants evasion in the form of flying, something that has worked well in blue decks in the past to get that crucial game-ending damage onto our opponents!
Since we’re mentioning her color identity, Eutropia does all these different things while getting the benefit from green's ramp potential and semi-decent suite of removal and the card advantage and control characteristics of blue.
Thinking about everything, I struggled to nail down what I wanted to do with an Eutropia deck outside of “have Enchantresses, cast enchantments, hit people hard in the air” until I realized that two of the deadliest enchantments could fit into this deck. Of course, I’m referencing <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Eldrazi Conscription" href="#" target="_blank">Eldrazi Conscription</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Corrupted Conscience" href="#" target="_blank">Corrupted Conscience</a>! I’m sure that some people are groaning and/or rolling their eyes at seeing both Infect and Annihilator in the same deck, but, in my defense, losing out on white in the color identity means that there are fewer tutors for enchantments. This makes the deck feel “fairer”, though I do acknowledge that the amount of draw power in a deck like this will make it feel like we can basically tutor anything up by drawing into it. For the most part, I don’t think we need to cover our methods of obtaining card advantage since you’ll see all the normal Enchantress effects in the list below. I do want to highlight some of the cards that I feel are more important supportive cards for this deck since both of our key enchantments are going to be high-value targets. This is one of the major reasons I have <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Destiny Spinner" href="#" target="_blank">Destiny Spinner</a> featured, above, as it protects us against control players who may be looking to counter our more important enchantments.
Unfortunately, without white, we miss out on some of the more prominent cards that help protect our enchantments, specifically, so the next best thing is to have ways to get them back when they are removed. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Eternal Witness" href="#" target="_blank">Eternal Witness</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Regrowth" href="#" target="_blank">Regrowth</a> are good single-target recursion effects, while <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Creeping Renaissance" href="#" target="_blank">Creeping Renaissance</a> will bring back all of our favorite permanent type.
When it comes to wrath effects, decks that like Auras struggle after losing them when the creatures die. Luckily, blue has effects that bounce both creatures and the permanents attached to them! <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Flood of Tears" href="#" target="_blank">Flood of Tears</a>, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Displacement Wave" href="#" target="_blank">Displacement Wave</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Devastation Tide" href="#" target="_blank">Devastation Tide</a> are all the kinds of wraths we’re looking for, letting us replay our Auras over and over again!
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Monsters From the Stars</h3>

When it comes to Enchantress decks, something I’ve become fond of doing during deck construction since the original Theros block is trying to include as many sensible enchantment creatures as I can. We get the benefits of our creatures now triggering our Enchantress effects: any protection that we play that protects enchantments will also protect our creatures, and nowadays there are some very powerful creatures printed with the starry border. The inclusion of two of the cards shown above should be obvious, but I do want to touch on the inclusion of <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Arasta of the Endless Web" href="#" target="_blank">Arasta of the Endless Web</a>. For one, I love Arasta and think she's a fantastic new card. She brings tons of incidental value to the board, even if she only spits out a couple of Spider tokens.
There are many other great cards to talk about, though. The new <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Thassa, Deep-Dwelling" href="#" target="_blank">Thassa, Deep-Dwelling</a> can target other enchantment creatures to trigger our Constellation effects, while <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Riptide Chimera" href="#" target="_blank">Riptide Chimera</a> can continually bounce enchantments back to our hand to be replayed and get those same triggers back on the stack. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Courser of Kruphix" href="#" target="_blank">Courser of Kruphix</a> creates incremental ramp and life gain, while <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Renata, Called to the Hunt" href="#" target="_blank">Renata, Called to the Hunt</a> helps Eutropia’s counter game snowball even faster. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Nylea’s Forerunner" href="#" target="_blank">Nylea’s Forerunner</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Nylea, God of the Hunt" href="#" target="_blank">Nylea, God of the Hunt</a> both grant our field trample, which will be important when we want to get damage through to land those 10 poison counters.
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Remember: Broaden Your Vision and Don’t Tunnel!</h3>

I’m going to preface this part of the article with a slight disclaimer/warning: this is going to seem a little weird.
I've noticed something while looking at the EDHREC page for Eutropia, and it made me think of something that I commonly see people doing when building a deck like this. I’ve even been guilty of it myself, and it’s called tunnel vision: looking at the numbers for the cards displayed above, and even for things like <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Sol Ring" href="#" target="_blank">Sol Ring</a>, and comparing them to cards like <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Seal of Primordium" href="#" target="_blank">Seal of Primordium</a>, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Wild Growth" href="#" target="_blank">Wild Growth</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Bred for the Hunt" href="#" target="_blank">Bred for the Hunt</a>, it seems strange to see what cards are more popularly included over some well-known, tried-and-true staples. Don’t get me wrong, unique card choices are not automatically worse than staples, and I’ll never hold it against anyone for not jamming every staple card into their deck. But I have personally focused so hard on building around “the thing” that I have forgotten that not everything has to tie directly into “the thing” with my card selections.
For instance, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Reality Shift" href="#" target="_blank">Reality Shift</a> is only in 12% of Eutropia decks at the time of writing this article. It’s a great removal spell in decks that aren’t running the best color for removal (white), but people seem to be running so many variations of <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Imprisoned in the Moon" href="#" target="_blank">Imprisoned in the Moon</a>, which appears in 35% of decks. Nearly three times as many! Again, finding unique ways to get Constellation triggers is just fine, but hopefully we aren’t doing it at the cost of efficiency in our deck. (Of course, if your deck is a thematic/flavorful build, ignore this section completely and enjoy your referencing-making throughout the game!)
Having said all of that, I do mix in my fair share of support cards that I feel do the best job, and the list pops out looking something like this:

Quick disclaimer: I know that someone taking a quick glance at the numbers for each section is going to make them say, “Wait, why are there only 15 enchantments in this enchantment-based deck?!” but a closer look will show that 12 of the creatures are also enchantments! This means that over a quarter of the deck is enchantments, which I still think is a touch low for this kind of deck, but definitely better than only 15!
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Welcome Back, Uncommonders!</h2>
Let me tell all of you fantastic readers: this one was hard to write. Not because of the Uncommonder, or even because I had been writing Replacement Commanders for so long. Truth be told, things got a little crazy in “The Real World”™, the week I was writing this. Everything going on with the world, kids getting sick, me getting sick, work stuff… But we pulled through! And we made it! <h1>Your Deck... It Needs More Cowbell!</h1>
Hello again, Commander faithful! Welcome back for another installment of Replacement Commanders, the series designed to look at the legendary creatures from the annual Commander precon product that didn't make it onto the face of each deck, and build a precon-like list specifically for them! Each year, we get these amazing commanders that are placed in decks built around a different legendary creature and those abilities and strategies. The series is quickly ending, though I have no idea how soon we'll have even more replacements, what with 2020 being the “Year of Commander” for Wizards of the Coast.
In the last article, we ended with a poll for the remaining two legendary creatures that are missing a color from the decks they were originally printed in. Readers got to vote on which to cover first, and which would be the last of the series. It was close in the end, but most of you wanted to see…
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Tahngarth, First Mate!</h2>

Admittedly, Tahngarth was not high on my rankings of legendary creatures from last year’s product. For as much as I enjoy the way his first ability works when we can give him menace, nothing in his second ability prevents the person we loan Tahngarth to from just sacrificing him. As someone who loves to use and abuse sacrifice outlets and strategies, it’s mildly unnerving to see a commander that wants to go under other people's control without having the same kind of protection that an <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Assault Suit" href="#" target="_blank">Assault Suit</a> would give. However, looking at the EDHREC page for Tahngarth, we can see that people have gravitated more toward an Equipment-based Voltron strategy. This makes me like the way the deck is bound to turn out, as it means that even if there are sacrifice players at the table, it shouldn’t be hard to suit up Tahngarth and get the work done ourselves.
For those games where there are no sacrifice players at the table, a third archetype that people are using with our Minotaur Warrior is “Forced Combat.” Ironically, I said in the last Replacement Commanders installment that I didn’t think this was a category on EDHREC, and <a href="https://edhrec.com/themes/forced-combat">it looks like I was wrong</a>! Of course, we shouldn’t be surprised to see how thorough the site’s themes are. After all, it collects so much data from around the internet, I’m sure we have a snapshot of every kind of archetype in the format!

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Building a Better Beater (or Oooh, Shiny New Toys!)</h3>

The Equipment and Voltron parts of Tahngarth are interwoven, as one of the best ways to make him hit hard and fast is to pile him up with Equipment that makes him stronger. Whenever I look at a commander that wants to wear a lot of Equipment, I always think that, while there should be some bomb cards that shock and awe the table, it’s just as important to have Equipment that act as support cards. This way we don’t have to make the tough choice between taking up card slots on Equipment vs. taking up slots on ramp, removal, etc.
<a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Sword of the Animist" href="#" target="_blank">Sword of the Animist</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Prying Blade" href="#" target="_blank">Prying Blade</a> provide different variations of ramp, while <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Rogue’s Gloves" href="#" target="_blank">Rogue’s Gloves</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Mask of Memory" href="#" target="_blank">Mask of Memory</a> give us some incremental card advantage. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Argentum Armor" href="#" target="_blank">Argentum Armor</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Sword of Sinew and Steel" href="#" target="_blank">Sword of Sinew and Steel</a> will get rid of a few pesky parts of our opponents’ battlefields. We will need to also include those bombs that will turn our commander into a one-shot machine. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Embercleave" href="#" target="_blank">Embercleave</a> has been tearing up the Standard scene and still has massive value in Commander. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Blackblade Reforged" href="#" target="_blank">Blackblade Reforged</a> is another great option, especially given that we’re in green and will have access to many ways to ramp with our lands. This next card is going to surprise some of you to list as a “bomb” card, but <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Bloodthirsty Blade" href="#" target="_blank">Bloodthirsty Blade</a> does a surprising amount of work to facilitate Tahngarth's strategy, ensuring the rest of the table joins us in the red zone.

<h3 style="text-align: center;">This Minotaur Brings the War!</h3>

<a href="https://articles.edhrec.com/replacement-commanders-furballs-of-warfare/">In our last article</a> for <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Marisi, Breaker of the Coil" href="#" target="_blank">Marisi, Breaker of the Coil</a>, we discussed cards that force combat for the table. This means that it's slightly awkward to have another such theme for this article, especially when the commanders share two colors (out of a possible three from Marisi). I don’t want to focus too much on the cards that we went over in the Marisi article that also appear on Tahngarth’s EDHREC page, so instead I want to focus on some other cool cards that are unique to Tahngarth.
<a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Vow of Wildness" href="#" target="_blank">Vow of Wildness</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Vow of Lightning" href="#" target="_blank">Vow of Lightning</a> are interesting, inspiring enemies to attack each other with some extra damage, while not being a bad fit on Tahngarth as well. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Curse of the Nightly Hunt" href="#" target="_blank">Curse of the Nightly Hunt</a> can be tricky, since the enchanted player may point their aggression in our direction. Still, this opens them up for attacks from our other opponents, so there is room to play the political game, making deals about who to give Tahngarth to, depending on who wants to attack us. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Incite War" href="#" target="_blank">Incite War</a> is a unique card for this situation, giving Tahngarth first strike before he runs out to assist someone who suddenly is compelled to do some damage on their turn!
Don’t forget the standard card advantage, ramp, removal, and Wraths! Put together, we might have a list like this:

Something caught my eye when I was reviewing Tahngarth’s EDHREC page: <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Bear Umbra" href="#" target="_blank">Bear Umbra</a>. It got me wondering how many Totem Armor enchantments there were in both green and red, since I am aware of quite a few in green and white. A quick <a href="https://scryfall.com/">Scryfall</a> search showed me that there are only five Totem Armor cards in our colors. Then I added Constellation into the mix. This added eleven more cards to the idea, and with sixteen total, I decided to go all-in on an enchantment version of Tahngarth!
Some of the Constellation cards I want to draw special attention to are <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Nylea’s Colossus" href="#" target="_blank">Nylea’s Colossus</a> and the new <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Setessan Champion" href="#" target="_blank">Setessan Champion</a> from Theros Beyond Death. Colossus turns Tahngarth into a massive threat very quickly, while Champion is another Enchantress-style effect, which is going to be a major subtheme for this list. Naturally, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Eidolon of Blossoms" href="#" target="_blank">Eidolon of Blossoms</a> is another great Constellation card for card advantage, and we're going to include <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Argothian Enchantress" href="#" target="_blank">Argothian Enchantress</a>, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Enchantress’s Presence" href="#" target="_blank">Enchantress’s Presence</a>, and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Verduran Enchantress" href="#" target="_blank">Verduran Enchantress</a> as well, so we can draw all the cards! Since this list won’t be running Equipment cards as our bombs, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Runes of the Deus" href="#" target="_blank">Runes of the Deus</a> works similarly to <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Embercleave" href="#" target="_blank">Embercleave</a>, while <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Ancestral Mask" href="#" target="_blank">Ancestral Mask</a> might just end games. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Destiny Spinner" href="#" target="_blank">Destiny Spinner</a> seems like a great way to keep control decks from stopping us, while cards like <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Eternal Witness" href="#" target="_blank">Eternal Witness</a> and even <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Road of Return" href="#" target="_blank">Road of Return</a> give us some recursion.
Wrap the list up with some removal, Wraths, ramp, and a few more bits of card advantage, and the list comes out looking like this:

<h2 style="text-align: center;">First Mate, But Not the Last Replacement!</h2>
Phew! I won’t lie, this was not the easiest article of the series to write. As I said in the beginning, in my eyes, Tahngarth was not the most interesting legendary creature to come out of this year’s product. Still, that is obviously down to personal preference, and I recognize that Tahngarth is still a very powerful commander with explosive plays. I'm both very excited and very nervous for this year, since we're getting so many additional precons. Hopefully this means we'll be getting an even wider array of unique abilities and strategies to play with!

<h1>Pramikon, Forting Up Games Since 2019!</h1>
Hello, Commander faithful! I hope you’ve all enjoyed the holidays, regardless of where you are and whether the weather is frightful or not. Hopefully your snow-covered lands feel a little more on-theme for the season! This is Replacement Commanders, the series where we look at the legendary creatures from the annual precon product from Wizards of the Coast that are not on the front of the package and brew a list or two around their unique abilities! This week we're tackling one of the more difficult commanders from C19...
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Pramikon, Sky Rampart</h2>

To start, I’ve always struggled to find comfort or success with Jeskai decks. My best showing was with a <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest" href="#" target="_blank">Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest</a> deck where I managed to one-shot someone out of the game somewhere around turn seven (only to die immediately from the other two players who didn't want to become the next victim). Scaring the table shouldn’t be a problem with Pramikon, though. At least, not until it’s too late and the game is firmly in our grasp.
I admit, I openly scoffed at Pramikon during the product’s preview season and thought it was more of a niche joke card than anything else. However, every time I have seen the precon deck or decks built with Pramikon in the command zone since, I have been thoroughly impressed, and my mind has been changed. Being able to read the game early and protect yourself from getting attacked by two-thirds of your opponents is a powerful effect. We can use this control effect especially well by setting up some defenses and forcing our opponents to pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Let’s break down the important cards and parts of the deck!

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Brick and Mortar</h3>

The first thing to do is, of course, work on the defenses. Most people won’t expect much when the Pramikon deck is dropping a few early Walls and defenders, so there’s a good chance everyone will look elsewhere for more profitable attacks.
Pramikon gets particularly weird if we somehow manage to get two of them in play, such as with <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Sakashima the Imposter" href="#" target="_blank">Sakashima the Imposter</a>, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Spark Double" href="#" target="_blank">Spark Double</a>, or <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Helm of the Host" href="#" target="_blank">Helm of the Host</a>. If one Pramikon chooses left, and the other chooses right... no one can attack at all, leaving us free to potentially find victory through noncombative ways. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Mystic Barrier" href="#" target="_blank">Mystic Barrier</a> works as well, since two opposing choices means there is no choice at all!
Aside from these locking pieces, we want Walls and defenders that give us a touch of value along with just a big butt that gets in the way of our enemies. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Wall of Omens" href="#" target="_blank">Wall of Omens</a>, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Mnemonic Wall" href="#" target="_blank">Mnemonic Wall</a>, and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Wall of Stolen Identity" href="#" target="_blank">Wall of Stolen Identity</a> all have different kinds of value, while <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Fog Bank" href="#" target="_blank">Fog Bank</a>, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Wall of Frost" href="#" target="_blank">Wall of Frost</a>, and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Wall of Denial" href="#" target="_blank">Wall of Denial</a> are fairly resilient blockers. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="High Alert" href="#" target="_blank">High Alert</a> provided redundancy for <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Arcades, the Strategist" href="#" target="_blank">Arcades, the Strategist</a> decks, and for Pramikon, it allows us to be offensive as well as defensive. Imagine winning a game by taking someone out with the walls of your fortress instead of the monsters within!
Alright, now we know a few staples. Let's take a look at some different potential strategies for Pramikon.

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Feeding the Flames</h3>

Even if we have ways to prevent folks from attacking, that’s not always the way to victory. Reading the other players in the early game can give us an idea of which player we can allow to attack us, and which players we would prefer to attack elsewhere. Once Pramikon is on the battlefield and directing traffic, we can help the battle get a little bloodier. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Disrupt Decorum" href="#" target="_blank">Disrupt Decorum</a> is the type of thing we're looking for, forcing everyone to attack in the only direction they can, while <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Goblin Spymaster" href="#" target="_blank">Goblin Spymaster</a> provides a body while forcing aggression. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Fumiko the Lowblood" href="#" target="_blank">Fumiko the Lowblood</a> also does a good job of forcing opponents to attack.
I really enjoy how effects like <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Benevolent Offering" href="#" target="_blank">Benevolent Offering</a> work in this scenario, where we choose one player (who can't attack us) to get creatures and pick a different player (who has almost no creatures) to gain life, while reaping both rewards for ourselves. The Hunted creatures <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Hunted Dragon" href="#" target="_blank">Hunted Dragon</a>, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Hunted Lammasu" href="#" target="_blank">Hunted Lammasu</a>, and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Hunted Phantasm" href="#" target="_blank">Hunted Phantasm</a> also provide us a means of throwing troops into the fray, while also giving us some beefy bodies. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Rite of the Raging Storm" href="#" target="_blank">Rite of the Raging Storm</a> provides consistent bodies each turn, while protecting you even from the person who may attack you.
<div class="edhrecp__cards"><div class="edhrecp__card-container" name="Will Kenrith"></div><div class="edhrecp__card-container" name="Venser, the Sojourner"></div><div class="edhrecp__card-container" name="Sarkhan the Masterless"></div></div>
We also need to know what precious cargo we're defending. Unsurprisingly, Jeskai has access to several great Planeswalkers, so we can use Pramikon to stop folks from attacking our awesome Superfriends. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Rowan Kenrith" href="#" target="_blank">Rowan Kenrith</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Will Kenrith" href="#" target="_blank">Will Kenrith</a> are fantastic, since Will’s minus ability helps make our Planeswalkers cheaper and Rowan’s ultimate doubles our walkers' abilities. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Venser, the Sojourner" href="#" target="_blank">Venser, the Sojourner</a> allows us to reset Pramikon if the flow of combat changes and we'd rather folks attack in a new direction, while <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Chandra, Awakened Inferno" href="#" target="_blank">Chandra, Awakened Inferno</a> puts the game on a clock even if we're not attacking. Finally, if we do like combat, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Sarkhan the Masterless" href="#" target="_blank">Sarkhan the Masterless</a> is a hilarious surprise attack from out of nowhere.
There are a ton of support cards in this list that fit in well, including <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Urza’s Ruinous Blast" href="#" target="_blank">Urza’s Ruinous Blast</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Time Wipe" href="#" target="_blank">Time Wipe</a> as Wraths that keeps our commander safe, or <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Oath of Teferi" href="#" target="_blank">Oath of Teferi</a> for an additional activation of our Planeswalkers and reset Pramikon if necessary. Put it all together with some of the common ramp and card advantage cards, and I think a Pramikon deck might look something like this:

I wanna test out one more potential build path for Pramikon. “Wall tribal” was the first thing I heard folks discussing when it was previewed. I scoffed at this at the time, because it seemed like such a silly thing to do, and because I do overall think <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Arcades, the Strategist" href="#" target="_blank">Arcades, the Strategist</a> is the better option for this idea.
Still, Pramikon did present an interesting opportunity to run two cards that I have always been a fan of: <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Doorkeeper" href="#" target="_blank">Doorkeeper</a> and <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Vent Sentinel" href="#" target="_blank">Vent Sentinel</a>. Rise of the Eldrazi's defender-matters subtheme is hilarious, and it's the one thing Arcades can't do with Defenders that Pramikon lets us play around with.
On the subjects of defenders, I personally love <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Nesting Dragon" href="#" target="_blank">Nesting Dragon</a> as a way of making them for a pretty low investment. Since almost all our creatures have Defender, <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="High Alert" href="#" target="_blank">High Alert</a> is a much more important card in this version of the list. This gives us the inclination to also add in ways to protect it or bring it back, should it wind up in our graveyard. For instance, since it's a three-mana permanent, it gives us a reason to include <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Sun Titan" href="#" target="_blank">Sun Titan</a>, which also works great with things like <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Auramancer" href="#" target="_blank">Auramancer</a>.
Oh, and since we're so defensive... I included <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Approach of the Second Sun" href="#" target="_blank">Approach of the Second Sun</a> as another defensive win condition.
While I struggled slightly with the list to get enough walls that I felt were high enough value, the deck ultimately looks like this:

It’s crazy to think Walls and defenders can make their own viable decks in Commander. I never quite bought into the hype behind <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Arcades, the Strategist" href="#" target="_blank">Arcades, the Strategist</a> when he was revealed, though I do credit him with at least providing card advantage. <a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Pramikon, Sky Rampart" href="#" target="_blank">Pramikon, Sky Rampart</a> may not provide that kind of advantage, but the benefits and value are still there with the right build.
