Tolarian Community College, the most-watched Magic content channel on YouTube, is teaming up with Archidekt, the best deckbuilding site on the web! With their powers combined, they're giving many Magic players the chance to win one of two Marvel's Spider-Man Collector Booster Boxes!
We have all the information on how to enter this "Amazing" contest down below.
The Premise Behind the Contest
The Professor, the creator behind Tolarian Community College, recently published a YouTube video lamenting the distinct lack of preconstructed Commander decks for Marvel's Spider-Man.
So, rather than sitting and doing nothing about it, he took matters into his own capable hands. He created three viable precons for the set!
However, The Professor's team only created three precons, where the usual Universes Beyond precon loadout is four decks. As such, he is teaming up with Archidekt to allow players to craft two more precons!
The Rules of Engagement
According to the contest's page on Archidekt, the rules are as follows:
- Participants must submit your decklist through Archidekt in the contest thread.
- The commander must be a legendary creature from the set other than the three used in the announcement video (Peter ParkerPeter Parker, Gwen StacyGwen Stacy, and Norman OsbornNorman Osborn). Commanders can be any other legendary from the set.
- No budget or bracket restrictions, but the goal is for this to be an exciting "lost precon" vibe, as interpreted by our judges. What do we mean by build-your-own precon or lost precon? Watch our video to see what we designed!
- Two winners will be selected from the submissions. Each winner will receive one Spider-Man Collector Booster box courtesy of Tolarian Community College and Archidekt!
- Strictly one entry per participant.
Specifications
Submissions are due September 18th with winners to be picked on September 19th. Archidekt will be notifying the winners via the email that is associated with the account, so make sure to review your contact information as well.
