On Tuesday, May 27th, Wizards of the Coast's WeeklyMTG livestream on Twitch showcased a slew of commons and uncommons from Final Fantasy. They also outlined the Limited archetypes you might use some of these cards in. What are we waiting for? Let's look at them!
Final Fantasy WeeklyMTG Previews For May 27th
All in all, there were a whopping 42 Final Fantasy previews during the stream! Granted, the vast majority of these reveals were for the edification of Limited players (and perhaps Pauper players as well!). However, these are always necessary for the health of the set's Limited environment, so we're not complaining!
All of these card assets are attributed to Wizards of the Coast and Square Enix.

On Limited Archetypes
Once the previews were out of the way, WeeklyMTG host Blake Rasmussen detailed the Limited archetypes for Final Fantasy with his guests, Gavin Verhey, Head Designer for the set, and Dillon Devenny, the set's Narrative Lead. That list is outlined in the infographic below, which you'll also see in Play Booster Boxes as an insert:

Put simply (and for those who can't see the infographic):
- White-Blue: Artifacts Matter
- Blue-Black: Control
- Black-Red: Black Mage Aggro
- Red-Green: Landfall Aggro
- Green-White: Go Wide
- White-Black: Artifact and Creature Sacrifice
- Blue-Red: Big Noncreature Spells
- Black-Green: Graveyard Value
- Red-White: Equipment Aggro

All in all, this final WeeklyMTG preview stream for the new set was extremely informative, and Blake and his guests had a lot to say about the Limited environment. There are a fair few cards to look out for in Draft and Sealed!
