The Interactive Commander Map
EDH, Visualized
Hey folks! We're excited to help announce a new tool from the fabulous folks at Lucky Paper! In case you hadn't already seen their big reveal, Lucky Paper worked in partnership with EDHREC to craft an interactive Commander Map that creates a visualization of the entire EDH format. Trust us, it's a doozy.
Check out the Commander Map here!
Compiling information from the over 1.2 million decks in the EDHREC database, this is a wild tool that helps bring Commander data to life. Whether you want to view the format holistically or want to closely examine a specific theme or a specific commander, there's a ton to explore.
Jett, one of the main masterminds behind this project, has also provided a wealth of additional information about this new resource. You should definitely go read his fantastic analysis, Mapping the Magic Landscape, and I highly, highly recommend listening in on Lucky Paper Radio's deep-dive podcast introducing the project, too. You can even check out Lucky Paper's algorithm!
There are more than 3,500 maps to explore, so join us in giving a huge round of applause to these cartographers. This is some high-key wizardry from some brilliant mathemagicians. Enjoy!
