There's a party over at the Secret Lair and everyone's invited! In addition to announcing "The Ultimate Pencil Superdrop", the good folks at Wizards of the Coast also announced Secret Lair: Everyone's Invited!, a new preconstructed Commander deck drop. It features Morophon, the BoundlessMorophon, the Boundless as its intended commander, and showcases a kindred-on-kindred theme. But is this list any good? Let's take a look!

Morophon, the Boundless

As one would expect, this decklist's theme merits that it hosts an absolute bevy of changeling creatures. Furthermore, the deck boasts an impressive amount of buffs for various creature types, some more specific than others (we see you, Atla Palani, Nest TenderAtla Palani, Nest Tender!). And, of course, it's all headed by Morophon, the Boundless. You could use Rukarumel, BiologistRukarumel, Biologist as an alternate commander in here, but that may end up less fun, for one reason or another.

New Card Art Gallery

The Secret Lair: Everyone's Invited! list also houses ten cards with new art. In addition to Morophon and the obligatory copy of Sol RingSol Ring, you also have a bunch of cards that care about creature types in some fashion. We covered many of these in a previous article. With fully-realized renders, here are the cards in their fully decorated, double-rainbow foil glory!

Will This Deck Win Games?

People have seen kindred-on-kindred decks go off before and win games. Unlike 20 Ways to Win, this deck has a more cohesive game plan and one that ought to do better than that deck.

However, it is yet unclear whether Everyone's Invited! will be quite as cohesive at your Bracket-2 table as, for example, a Tarkir Dragonstorm precon, or even something from earlier sets. That is just the nature of five-color preconstructed decks, for the most part. Put another way, there's a reason that the Dihada, Binder of WillsDihada, Binder of Wills precon from Dominaria United was more popular overall than the Jared CarthalionJared Carthalion precon. Nevertheless, the main reason to get this precon besides novelty is for the neat art treatments. This is especially true at its whopping $199.99 price point.

The Party Never Ends

Everyone's Invited! releases to the Secret Lair webstore on May 12th. As stated above, it will sell at a price of $199.99. Will you try to get your hands on this deck? Let us know below!
