At 9 AM Pacific Time (Noon Eastern) on Monday, September 22nd, Wizards of the Coast will release the next batch of set-centric Secret Lair drops. This time, the drops are based around Marvel's Spider-Man, the latest Universes Beyond set. What's in the six new drops, and how much will they cost? Read on, and we'll fill you in!

Secret Lair: Daily Bugle Breaking News

This first drop is themed after five cards that make up the cover pages of the Daily Bugle, New York's finest sloppy tabloi- errrr, I mean newspaper. Yeah, let's go with that!

The cards in the Daily Bugle Breaking News drop are the following:

Fact or Fiction|SLD|1995
Frantic Search|SLD|1996
Scheming Symmetry|SLD|1997
Blasphemous Act|SLD|1998
Impact Tremors|SLD|1999

To get this Secret Lair drop in nonfoil, it'll cost you $29.99, or $39.99 in foil.

Heroic Deeds

The next drop of the six is known as Heroic Deeds. This drop showcases Spider-Man doing amazing, spectacular things, such as saving people, showing off his latest innovative gadgets, or breaking through a rift in the Spider-Verse. The cards in this drop are as follows:

Ephemerate|SLD|1990
Three Visits|SLD|1991
Lightning Greaves|SLD|1992
Sol Ring|SLD|1993
Command Tower|SLD|1994

Like Daily Bugle Breaking NewsHeroic Deeds will set you back $29.99 for a nonfoil set, or $39.99 for a foil one.

Villainous Plots

Much like Heroic Deeds showcased Spidey's do-good attitude, Villainous Plots has the villains of Spider-Man set in their dastardly, evil ways with a similar drop. The cards from Villainous Plots are as such:

Deadly Dispute|SLD|1985
Go for the Throat|SLD|1986
Lightning Greaves|SLD|1987
Sol Ring|SLD|1988
Command Tower|SLD|1989

Villainous Plots will sell for $29.99 in nonfoil or $39.99 in its foil iteration.

Mana Symbiote

This Secret Lair drop is a really cool one, even if it's just 10 basic lands (2 of each type besides WastesWastes). It's very similar to the oil-slick foil basic lands from Phyrexia: All Will Be One. Unlike those, however, these come exclusively in a raised-foil treatment. The lands look like this:

Plains|SLD|1950
Island|SLD|1951
Swamp|SLD|1952
Mountain|SLD|1953
Forest|SLD|1954

Mana Symbiote is the most expensive of the six drops, costing $59.99 for the ten raised-foil cards.

Venom Unleashed

Venom Unleashed, the final Secret Lair drop in this superdrop, comes in two distinct styles: in color and in black-and-white. They drops contain the same cards mechanically, but which one you get is up to your discretion! The cards in Venom Unleashed (both versions) look like this:

Damnation|SLD|2000
Dark Ritual|SLD|2001
Peer into the Abyss|SLD|2002
Surgical Extraction|SLD|2003
Tendrils of Agony|SLD|2004
Damnation|SLD|2019
Dark Ritual|SLD|2020
Peer into the Abyss|SLD|2021
Surgical Extraction|SLD|2022
Tendrils of Agony|SLD|2023

Both versions of Venom Unleashed are due to sell for $29.99 in nonfoil and $39.99 in foil.

Conclusion

If you want to pick up any of these drops, you can do so at the official Secret Lair website at 9 AM Pacific Time (or 12 Noon Eastern Time) on September 22nd. These drops will be available on a limited print-run basis, so if you want them, be prepared to queue up early and snag them quickly!
