The 2025 EDHREC Salt Scores are here! We've got a few pretty big shakeups, including one Final Fantasy legend that gets people saltier than a can of Campbell's condensed.

Let's see what they are.

2025's Saltiest Cards

EDHREC Salt Scores Top 5 Cards

The top two are repeats from last year, with StasisStasis and Winter OrbWinter Orb once again the reigning champs. Though it must be noted that their scores did both drop slightly by .07 and .15, respectively.

The real news here is the number three saltiest card, Vivi OrnitierVivi Ornitier. This Final Fantasy legend has been tearing up Standard with much of the community calling for it to be banned. Based on these scores, it appears that Commander players aren't big fans either.

The fourth spot goes to Tergrid, God of FrightTergrid, God of Fright, who jumped up four spots from last year, and Rhystic StudyRhystic Study, up eight spots from 2024.

EDHREC Saltiest Cards 2025 6 - 10

• Number six is The Tabernacle at Pendrell ValeThe Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale, up six spots from last year.
• ArmageddonArmageddon dropped from five to seven.
• Static OrbStatic Orb dropped one spot to eighth.
• Vorinclex, Voice of HungerVorinclex, Voice of Hunger dropped a full five spots to ninth place.
• And Thassa's OracleThassa's Oracle dropped from sixth to tenth.

EDHREC Saltiest Cards 2025 11 - 15

• At number 11 is Grand Arbiter Augustin IVGrand Arbiter Augustin IV, up seven spots from 2024.
• Smothering TitheSmothering Tithe jumped a massive 18 spots from last year, now at 12th.
• Jin-Gitaxias, Core AugurJin-Gitaxias, Core Augur dropped two spots to 13th.
• The One RingThe One Ring dropped from 9th place to 14th.
• HumilityHumility made a huge leap up 13 spots, to round out our top 15 saltiest cards of the year.

Saltiest New Cards of 2025

Here are the brand new cards from the last year getting high Salt scores. It probably goes without saying that Vivi OrnitierVivi Ornitier is gonna be at the top of the list, but let's see the rest of the new cards getting players angry.

The salty new cards seem to be dominated by a lot of black cards and legends. And an overwhelming amount of Universes Beyond.
