Round three of EDHREC's March Commandness Bracket Tournament begins now! In this article, we'll look at who won the matchups from round two in the North and South conferences, and then kick off the next round of voting.
But first, in case you missed the announcement article explaining what this all is, head here to get the lowdown. TL;DR, we're doing a bracket system tournament, but instead of college basketball teams, we're battling the top 64 new commanders from the last five years.
And you decide the winner by voting.

North Conference - Round Two Winners
Before we get into round three, let's take a look at the winners of round two.
Match One - Y'shtola, Night's BlessedY'shtola, Night's Blessed (1) vs Flubs, the FoolFlubs, the Fool (8)
Winner: Y'shtola (50.5%)
This was the biggest nail-biter of the tournament so far. Flubs and Y'shtola took the lead from each other several times during voting. Most of us were hoping for a big upset to knock out Y'shtola, but in the end she beat the Frog by 21 votes.
Match Two - Chatterfang, Squirrel GeneralChatterfang, Squirrel General (5) vs Captain N'ghathrodCaptain N'ghathrod (13)
Winner: Chatterfang (57.6%)
No real surprise here. I'm just glad I won't have to type N'gathrod anymore. N'ghahtrod? N... N'hahtgonna play in this tournament anymore.
Match Three - Bello, Bard of the BramblesBello, Bard of the Brambles (6) vs Vivi OrnitierVivi Ornitier (3)
Winner: Bello (65.9%)
Here's a shocker. A lot of people picked Vivi to go way farther than this, but the trash panda gave the little Wizard a thorough trouncing. My bracket hates it, but I don't.
Match Four - Kefka, Court MageKefka, Court Mage (7) vs The Wise MothmanThe Wise Mothman (2)
Winner: Mothman (60.8%)
Wise Mothman has been in the top five commanders built for the last few weeks, so it's no surprise that he keeps making short work of his opponents. Not surprising to me, anyway, since I've got him winning the whole thing.
South Conference - Round Two Winners
Match One - Pantlaza, Sun-FavoredPantlaza, Sun-Favored (1) vs Hearthhull, the WorldseedHearthhull, the Worldseed (9)
Winner: Hearthhull (54.6%)
Another huge upset here, as Pantlaza becomes the first 1-seed to get knocked out of the tournament. I'll refrain from jokes about Dinosaurs and extinction (too soon).
Match Two - Henzie "Toolbox" TorreHenzie "Toolbox" Torre (12) vs Baylen, the HaymakerBaylen, the Haymaker (4)
Winner: Henzie (51.3%)
Henzie keeps surprising us by knocking out much stronger opponents. I had him losing in the first round, and here he is moving on to the third. Will he keep this streak going?
Match Three - Tom BombadilTom Bombadil (11) vs Teval, the Balanced ScaleTeval, the Balanced Scale (3)
Winner: Teval (64.6%)
Sagas versus Sultai graveyard value. I don't think this one surprised anyone.
Match Four - Ygra, Eater of AllYgra, Eater of All (10) vs Giada, Font of HopeGiada, Font of Hope (2)
Winner: Ygra (66.5%)
Like Henzie, Ygra just keeps surprising us. It probably spent the weekend coughing up Angel feathers.
Here's where the North bracket stands going into round three.
And here's the South bracket.
